We are very pleased to announce the launch of the new website for Desmasdon’s Boatworks! This site features some cool design elements such as a full screen background image (in most modern browsers) and a real-time weather widget. It’s no secret that at Linkhouse Media we love WordPress and it was a perfect building block for the great folks at Desmasdon’s.

We worked with Matt, Kara and Tonia to get a fresh new look and full content management for the new site. All of the usual goodies such as Facebook and Twitter integration as well as Google Analytics have been incorporated in the design.

Our friends at Georgian Lanes in Parry Sound needed a new website that was functional, dynamic and followed their current psychedelic branding. We thought this design would work perfectly for them. Using our favorite authoring platform WordPress (it’s not a secret folks, we use WordPress) we were able to give Georgian Lanes the power of a fully editable web application at a great price.

Linkhouse Media, in partnership with Linkhost Media has officially launched the brand new website for the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts. We are very proud and honoured to have acquired the contract to both build and host the website for such a great organization that benefits the town of Parry Sound and artists from all over the world. Look for future updates that will continue to improve the functionality and user-friendliness of stockeycentre.com.

On a personal note, my amazing family deserves some credit on this job as they put up with my insane work schedule throughout the duration of this project.

Greetings blog readers! I’m excited to be posting my first blog entry. I feel an overwhelming (okay if I’m honest it’s not really overwhelming) pressure to write a clever, witty, compelling blog entry. I think however, that in this case I’ll take the less is more approach to blogging.

That being said, welcome to the Linkhost Media blog where we’ll be posting specials, announcements and anything we think might be of interest. A word of warning though: Ian and I just might accidentally display just how geeky we are with this tool at our disposal. By way of example I’d like to share my favorite link of the day.
