This is not an April fools joke, but it is another great day at Linkhouse Media as we officially go live with the all new festivalofthesound.ca! Over the past few months we have had the pleasure of working under the art direction of the amazingly talented Sara Tyson who envisioned the look of the site as well as the Festival’s print media. My hat is off to the Festival of the Sound’s incredibly hard-working Marketing & Community Relations coordinator Carla Bossart, who worked many long hours filling the new website with content. Carla, along with Festival Executive Director Margie Boyd were instrumental in coordinating the site structure and content, and were able to clearly communicate their needs as the project moved forward.
The Festival of the Sound is in its 32nd season this year and will run from July 15th to August 7th with the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts being its main venue. The Festival features renowned artists from all over the world who come together on beautiful Georgian Bay to wow audiences year after year. It has been our pleasure at Linkhouse Media being a part of such a great organization and we look forward to a continued relationship with the Festival.
Some of the features of the new website include Linkhouse Media’s own custom Content Management System, dynamic page, artist and event creation, a WordPress blog integration with media gallery and custom theme design, a custom theme design for the online ticket portal and much more.
